Graduates Praise Leadership Boot Camp

"I found Academy Leadership helps leaders really think about what they believe in. It also makes your expectations crystal clear to subordinates. People want leaders they can predict. They want to know, up front, what's valued and what's not. That's what the personal leadership philosophy does for you."
--Robert McDonald, CEO, Procter & Gamble

"Leadership Boot Camp is a fantastic opportunity to take a step back from daily challenges and spend some time getting to know yourself better. It provides you with information and tools to be a better leader. If you put a lot of energy into it, you will get invaluable results out of it."
--Linda Yavoich, NASA Glenn Research Center

"Very powerful. Allows you to see and improve leadership qualities based on your own personal style, expectations and needs."
--David Britton, Staples, Inc.

"I give Academy Leadership my highest recommendation. The program offered a no nonsense approach to leadership training and presented the material in easy to absorb format. The emphasis on practical application is already paying dividends. My team has never been as focused on the leadership fundamentals."
--COO, financial services company

"The Academy Leadership program was truly exceptional. Not only were we quickly motivated to focus on critical leadership skills, we were also introduced to applications that will provide immediate impact on our working together."
--Hugh Hortsman, Southwest Airlines Pilots Association

"Our people demonstrate awareness of their roles as leaders on a daily basis. They are more focused on setting and achieving goals, more structured and organized in managing their time and that of others, and more aware of their responsibility in achieving corporate results."
--Timothy Lehmann, Applied Card Systems

"Communication throughout the organization has improved greatly. Individuals at all levels are aware of the need to clearly state expectations, to solicit and respond to feedback, to establish deadlines that are reasonable, and to report results regularly."
--Edward McKenna, Cross Country Bank

"I've always considered myself a leader but never knew how much I didn't know! I was fortunate to spend three days with some very interesting people who wanted to learn about leadership, and learned so much from each one. It was a great experience for me!"
--Marybeth Avioli, Villanova University

"If you have not had leadership training, it outlines what you need to do to be a successful leader. If you have had leadership training, it drives you to understand and refocus yourself."
--Warren Brower, Cessna Aircraft Company

"This program helps leaders not only improve their leadership skills and leadership effectiveness, but also helps leaders understand who they are and the direction of where they're going."
--Cruz Gonzalez, National Western Life Insurance Co.

"Very thorough, well-planned, energetic, and empowering. The program makes you feel as if you can be a leader. I also realized that I was already a leader and I now have the tools to become a better one."
--Brent Luers, National Fire Protection, LLC

"The program is very exciting and I like the class interaction with my fellow students. I found out a lot of things about myself that I did not know and I really feel I gained some very good knowledge from this course."
--Ivan Francis, Atlantic Detroit Diesel — Allison

"Whatever your dream, vision, or purpose, it helps you articulate it and develop a plan to achieve it."
--Betsy Wheat, Innovative Practice Management

"A valuable tool to transform your organization from malfunction to function. Specific strategy based on proven methods to reap real measurable results. FUN!
--Pandora Rupert

"Unlike any other program or class. There are many books and classes that deal with management, but not leadership. The material presented was new and exciting. If the principles are put to use, success will follow."
--Jeff Haughey, ConTech Construction

"This is an intense look at leadership principles. It provided a greater understanding of self, as well as real world methods to operate better."
--Bonnie Penner, Florida Virtual School

"An extremely intense leadership program that teaches you through role playing, reading, and real-life examples of the skill sets and attributes of an effective leader."
--Julie Kleffel, BankFIRST

"Extremely insightful and energizing. Fast paced and eye opening. Excellent sets of tools, especially by having the reading material included in an audio CD."
--Darren Joyner, Assurant, Inc.

"It helps you evaluate yourself and your capacity as a leader and provides you with tools to improve your leadership, coaching, time management, and productivity."
--RADM Richard Buchanan, USN (Ret.), U.S. Navy Memorial

If you are looking to come away with a high level of comprehension of why certain things are and are not working for you and you want to bring concrete skills back home that can be utilized immediately, this is the course for you. You must be ready to commit.
--Kathleen Guith, Federal Election Commission

What the U.S. Navy can teach you about never losing in business

The management and leadership skills taught at Leadership Boot Camp were developed and tested not at Harvard Business School by a bunch of college professors, but from an elite group of ex-military-officers-turned-entrepreneurs-and-CEOs.

So you know that their proven leadership strategies and tactics have been battle-tested in the real world — where they generate real results for our students.

"As a West Point graduate, I was attracted to the Academy Leadership program because I had known the principles for several years and knew they had used leadership principles developed at West Point and the Naval Academy to help develop leaders who achieve powerful business goals," says McDonald.

"People want to work in a place where they can do what's right and not worry about the consequences. Whether it's having to recall a product from the marketplace or how we took care of the people of Japan after the Kobe earthquake of 1995, we've been guided by this principle."

Now, by attending Academy Leadership's Leadership Boot Camp, you can learn leadership as it is taught at West Point and the Naval Academy to the world's most successful military officers and future business leaders.

Did you know that the U.S. Navy is the mightiest Navy in the world — bar none? It's true: the U.S. Navy has never lost a major war. And no one knows more about leadership than its top commanding officers.

The founder and senior management team of Academy Leadership (see bios at left) combine successful business careers with years of service in the United States Navy and Army — including training at the Naval Academy and West Point.

The result is the Leadership Boot Camp — a unique 3-day workshop that helps executives develop and articulate their own personal leadership philosophy statements.

"I would give Academy Leadership my highest recommendation," writes the CEO of a large financial service firm. "The course is already paying dividends. My team has never been as focused on the leadership fundamentals."

I'll make you this promise: Send your top executives and direct reports to Leadership Boot Camp this month. We'll send back to you men and women who are stronger leaders — effective managers who energize their teams, enable their people to see a clear relationship between their daily duties and organizational goals, communicate a consistent leadership philosophy throughout the organization, and instill smart work strategies in their team to achieve tangible results.

Are leaders born or made?

Can leadership really be learned? The answer, surprisingly, is yes: in a recent survey, CEOs said they were born with only 40% of their leadership abilities. The remaining 60% of their leadership skills they developed through education and experience.

Yet a recent Harris poll showed that only a third of senior management at Fortune 500 companies feel confident in the abilities of the next generation of leaders.

Superior leadership can turn your organization's future in today's uncertain marketplace from a "maybe" into a "sure-thing" — no matter what direction the economy takes.

And it can provide an unprecedented level of business success — and job security — for you and every member of your team!

After attending Academy Leadership's Leadership Boot Camp, our attendees report that:
  • Their leaders are more focused on their key performance indicators for accomplishing corporate goals.
  • Everyone in their organization understands their contribution to the overall mission.
  • Their people are aligned and working together as a team.
  • Communications are dramatically improved because team members now understand expectations.
  • Turnover in their organizations shrinks, because workers now respect their bosses as leaders.
  • Sales, revenues, productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, profit margin, and other key performance indicators improve significantly, demonstrating that the business is now getting the results it needs.
Spending a few days at our next Leadership Boot Camp can give you the same results, helping you achieve greater levels of organizational and personal success. In fact, we guarantee it — or your money back!

Having a written leadership philosophy has clearly worked for Bob McDonald at Procter & Gamble.

"If you had invested $1,000 in Procter & Gamble stock when I first joined the company 24 years ago, your stock today would be worth about $12,000," says Bob. "That's a 12 to 1 return on your investment."

Consumers worldwide use Procter & Gamble products 2 billion times a day. And the company certainly has an enviable track record of creating leaders.

Corporate leaders who started their careers as brand assistants at P&G include Intuit founder Scott Cook, former General Motors Chairman John Smale, 3M CEO Jim McNerney, EBay CEO Meg Whitman, and GE Chief Executive Jeff Immelt.

When you're a great leader, it naturally increases your employees' confidence in you -- and that can translate directly into a better bottom line: according to a WorkUSA survey, the 3-year return to shareholders is almost 3X higher at companies with high trust levels than at organizations whose employees don't trust their senior management.

At Academy Leadership, we have spent more than half a million dollars researching, developing, testing, and refining the leadership training presented in our 3-day intensive Leadership Boot Camps.

Now this accumulated wisdom of our decades of leadership experience in private industry and the military can be yours at a miniscule fraction of that cost.

You pay most of your managers and executives six figure salaries for their contributions to the business. Now, in just three days, you can multiply the results every manager and executive on your team generates for you.

Earning an MBA today costs at least $50,000 and takes a year or more — and leadership training is conspicuously absent from most MBA programs.

Now, you can benefit from the one-of-a-kind leadership experience you get in our Leadership Boot Camp in only 3 days ... at a cost that's LESS than you pay your managers and executives for just one week on the job. And click here to find out how you can save 10% on your enrollment fee:
