King of Prussia, PA - One of the greatest challenges facing human resource professionals today is the lack of effective leadership at the senior level of many organizations. In response to this challenge, representatives of Academy Leadership will be on hand as sponsors of the Human Resources Masters Symposium 2002 to be held in Palm Desert, California, from December 8-11.
Founded by graduates of the prestigious U.S. Service Academies, Academy Leadership's mission is to build leaders. Their Lead2Succeed process is based on methods used by West Point and the Naval Academy leadership development programs. They combined these strategies with today's successful corporate philosophies to create corporate leadership development programs guaranteed to give measurable results.
The HR Masters Symposium program features keynote presentations by a variety of visionary "Masters," including Rudy Giuliani, Peter Drucker, and Earvin "Magic" Johnson. Each will offer different perspectives on effective leadership based on personal experience.
The HR Masters Symposium was developed in response to numerous requests from human resources professionals for a forum where stories could be shared and ideas exchanged on a variety of topics, including effective leadership principles and practices. Attendees to the Symposium represent the Senior Human Resources executives from Global 2000 companies.
Also slated for discussion are real-world HR best practices, analysis of HR research findings, corporate governance and performance metrics, and employee retention and coaching. One-on-one meetings with the HR industry's premier product and service vendors will also be available throughout the symposium.
